How to open .mdb file format & Unlock DB password

In this article, I’m going to explain “How to open .mdb file on excel”. As this file is protected by a password, we have to use a way to open the file. Let me tell you to open it using a simple method.

What is an MDB file?

MDB file format stands for Microsoft Database. MDB file contains information and tables of a Database. It also helps to link and store data from XML, HTML files and Excel applications.

First, open the .mdb file on the excel sheet.
From the window, click on Enable the comment and tap OK to continue.
Now a pop- up will be asked to enter the password. If you don’t know the password follow the steps given below.
Download access pass view (portable)Software on your PC. It will be downloaded as a zip file.
Extract the file and open the accesspv.exe file from the folder.
You could see a small window with some details.
Now drag the .mdb file and paste on that window. This helps to show the database password.
Copy the password and open the .mdb file.
Enter the copied password on the password column and hit Enter.
